Really good take on harlequin’s story and why is she the way she is, the art style was really beautiful really pleasing to the eye. I always thought why joker to harely and I think this explains it a little bit why.

i’m not much of a dc comic fan, maybe because i haven’t found the right character or series to start with, but WOW this was amazing! my husband recently bought it and was super excited to read it and i wanted to read something light, so i picked it up. and it makes me really interested in Harley Quinn’s story now! like, i want to read all the HQ comics! this was basically her origin story, how Harleen Quinzel became Harley Quinn, and it was fantastic! the art was also stunning, like the joker was even drawn so pretty! i almost wish it was longer and had more to it, even though the pacing and everything was nearly perfect, i wanted—no, needed more!!

I don't know why it took me so long to finally get to this. This book is so good and I'm in love with the artwork.

Masterfully done.

The art style is amazing, cause it's Stjepan Šejić. But I also enjoyed the story itself and I wanna learn more. I think it is very obvious in this book how abusive and not at all romantic relationship between Harley and Joker are. That's definitely a good thing!

An absolutely fantastic Harleen Quinzel origin story!

The familiar plot is delivered in a fresh light with gorgeous art and inner monologue I find insightful, allowing Harleen/Harley actual agency and her own personal motivations, which are heartbreaking in their simplicity, as they've always been. I found the reclamation of the nickname a bit stilted, but that was a minor hiccup that came from a personal history that fits so well with the character's profile. So, imo, worth it. Everything else ran so smoothly. Very, very much looking forward to the next instalment.
