This book was so sweet and had me falling in love with all the characters! Especially the funny moments between Mason and Presley's baby daddy! This story is all about second chances and righting the wrongs of your past. It's about things left unsaid between a couple when they are forced to split up and never talk again. Until one day they have a chance encounter. Who knew they would one day run back into each other at the perfect moment in their lives.

Doing It Right is a book that I wanted to pick up for two very specific reasons: one, it's a Kindle Unlimited book, and then two, it's an author that I discovered in the Nightingale anthology. The short story in that other book was a prequel to this book, and I wanted to follow the story through, and I'm so glad that I did. It was a really fun book and such a fun read, but I wanted more drama in it. I think the book had a lot of good moments, and it was an easy read. But it needed more drama because I felt like overall, things came really easy for these two. I mean, they did have many things to overcome, but at the same time, I just wanted more drama like baby daddy drama, friend drama, or even town drama. I feel like we touched on so many what-if moments, but then they led nowhere. I feel terrible complaining about the baby daddy drama because I loved the route it went in this story. I feel like it took such a different route, but I just wanted a little more drama. So it was a fun, easy read overall. The one thing that really annoyed me in this book was how they kept talking about him leaving. Then when he finally gets an offer to go, he doesn't even contemplate it or get a chance to talk to her about it. At the beginning of the book, his goal was to coach a professional team, and he's finally getting the opportunity. They don't even talk about maybe moving there to do it. I feel like they would've gone. But I get why they choose to stay; it all just boils down to me wanting more drama.
