This is a sweet story.
Charlotte and Reed are lovely.

I started the book this morning and could not put it down. One of the best books I’ve read in a while. :)

i love charlotte more than i love myself

I think I have a love-hate relationship with this book. Maybe I’ll edit this and talk about that, maybe not. I loved the epilogue though.

I think I’m falling more in love with workplace romances by the day! I listen to this one on audio and it did not disappoint! This story starts off with Charlotte selling her wedding dress in a near by bridal shop because she found out her now ex-fiancé is cheating on her and she is very low on cash. While she’s waiting for the sells lady to get give her a price for the dress, her eyes land on this beautiful dress that’s she has to try on. While putting on the dress, she notices that there’s a blue note attached to the inside of the dress with a love poem from a guy name Reed. Charlotte can’t seems to let the dress and note stay in the shop, so she exchanges her dress for the new one and set out on a quest to find Mr. Reed. Charlotte and Reed kept me so entertained and laughing the whole time that I finished the book in one day! Between their banter and their inability to keep their hands to themselves, you will not regret reading this book!! To bad it’s a standalone, I would love to read more of them!

This book was a fun office romance read! There were parts that had me giggling and parts that had my teary. A breath of fresh air to read!

This was a cute story to pass the time between more serious books on my TBR list... lots of witty humor and, what I believe to be, a witty fairy good mother. You'll need some suspended belief, but just let yourself have fun while reading it and don't take it too seriously.

It's soooooo good

Any book of Vi is a treasure and honestly this was no exception.

I loved this book!
I’ve been wanting to read an office romance for a while and this was the perfect book!
It’s heartwarming, funny and really sweet
I’m obsessed with Reed and Charlotte !

Finally a romance that doesn't need a breakup in the last third of the book. Refreshing to see a conflict that doesn't resolve around breakup because of miscommunication. The communication in this book generally is great. Any misunderstanding is cleared up with conversation pretty fast. I can hardly believe that the MCs talk about things. They don't just think to themselves, assume something totally wrong and act on that. The audiobook is part of KU and really good.

[3/5] Tbh I would’ve rated higher but the proposal scene made me cringe, you know the part. Anyway, overall I really enjoyed it!

Hate Notes has been on my TBR — and my shelves — for ages. I didn't know when I'd actually get around to reading it, but then Kelly recommended it for the #12reads12friends challenge I'm doing. I selected it for my March read and *finally* read it during the last week of the month. It was the first non-reread book I read in, well, weeks. Since the CV hit the fan and my anxiety went through the roof. I really enjoyed this one. It was sexy and swoony, but it took a turn partway through that left me with a whole bunch of feelings and emotions. I wouldn't say it was heavy, per se, but maybe a little heavier than I wanted with everything else going on in the world. But, that's another case of "it's not you, it's me". I seem to have a lot of that lately. It's probably why I'm relying mostly on rereads now. Nice, solid book with characters it was easy to root for.

4.5!!!!

2-2.5. I was bored with the story and never connected with the MCs. I loved the premise but the romance didn’t live up to it.
