Hated You Then

Well damn, I read this book fast. I finished this book in 4 hours. I seriously read it nonstop. This book reminds me of another book called Bully but it's significantly different. It starts off with a spoiler of what's to come in the second book, I believe. Which I will not mention because it's a big spoiler. Then it story carries itself as the years go by. They start off as kids and you see Jackson go through a lot of heartbreaking things. They grow up and become teenagers and even as the years pass by they still act like they hate each other. But there are these moments where you can see that's not true. 
 
At first, I was going to say that kids don't talk the way the author wrote but I thought about and while most kids don't talk that way, some kids do. I would know because I remember when I was in 6th grade I moved schools and I thought I moved to another planet or something because the kids in my old school never cussed and were "good kids" overall. And the school I moved to reminds me of the way they talked. They might be 13 but they were not innocent at all. So in some places, kids that age actually do act that way. 
 I will say I'm going to read the second book because I'm curious about where this is going.

Lastly, I love Harley's Dad. I just love their relationship and it makes my heart ache because I wish I had a relationship with my dad that was at least a quarter of theirs. 

Ps: You should use words instead of your fists but I will say that was hilarious!
