Havoc at Prescott High

Pretty bad, no real point to the book. There was no climax and quite difficult to finish. Not for me!

Entré sin expectativas. Solo con la idea de algo nuevo, según lo prometía la sinopsis. Salí con algo completamente mejor. Durante mucho tiempo leí la misma trama “chicos ricos haciéndose los malos”, funcionó por un tiempo; hasta que me terminó aburriendo. Con Havoc at Prescott High esperaba algo de lo mismo. Pero apenas pasé los primeros capítulos me di cuenta que esta lectura sería como nada que hubiese leído antes. Para comenzar no es la típica escuela de niños ricos privilegios; no. Aquí nos cuentan la historia de 6 almas rasgadas por la tragedia, desesperación y la maldad. No pretende justificar los actos de ninguno. Solo narrar un presente injusto. Le doy 4 estrellas, porque a pesar de que me gustó bastante, encuentro fallas con la narración conveniente, en donde curiosamente muchos personajes no contaban con apariciones (o desapariciones para el caso) lógicas. Cuando la autora dijo que la historia de esta protagonista no tendría final feliz sino hasta el último y tercer libro; no mentía.

Was so easy to fall in love with The Havoc guys. Hael, Aaron, Victor, Oscar and Callum. Victor and Oscar are my favorite. Curious about the guys. Got a little insight on some. Bernadette can hold her own with all their different personalities. Some great banter between her and the guys and some even with the guys. Curious where the plot is going. 4/5 Loved It. . New Adult, Reverse Harem, Enemies To Lovers, Dark Romance, Bully Romance.

I loved this book, it left me immediately downloading the next one. The plot is fun, the characters are fun, and the spice is THERE.

Going into a book with expectations never end well for me and as such I’m underwhelmed by this book so far. Granted this is based on kids in high school so not sure how gritty or mature I was expecting but it was missing something. I felt like we didn’t learn much of anything about our characters nothing of depth about their lives. Even the rivalry with other schools felt like useless information in the plot. This is book 1 so I was expecting more background, more flashbacks to when they were younger before the bullying & during. I expected to learn about each havoc boy . I also wish Bernadette had a friend outside of the boys to confide in, yes we get to see her thoughts but it’s like she’s so alone & has nobody to confide in or have a sounding board. The cliffhanger was weird to say the least & I mean I’m not overly excited to go to the next book but I want to know the resolution so I will continue on..

The book that started my dark romance journey! This book is a must read if you're into: 1) Enemies to lovers 2) Reverse Harem 3) Gangs/Mafia Bernie goes into her senior year calling 'HAVOC', the group of boys who ruined her life two years, to get revenge on the people on her list. They agree, but with one catch, she has to be their girl. Bernie reluctantly agrees, gets thrown into the middle of a turf war, and finds herself falling for multiple boys in HAVOC. It's seriously such an amazing book, and I've been waiting MONTHS for the second one. Cannot wait to binge. JUST READ THE DAMN BOOK YALL, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

This was pretty extreme. I am interested to see where it goes but I skimmed over the descriptions of the past because it was really intense and icky. 3.5 stars
