Jeannette Ordas

Want to really know what goes on behind the scenes in a hotel? Or want to glean a few tips to make your next hotel visit a little nicer (tip: tip well). The author is likeable and this is a really speedy, entertaining read, but I don't think I can justify 4 stars for this one. 3.5 stars.

Caroline Lewicki

Raunchy, fun, and will make you wonder the next time you stay at a hotel, "What's really going on here?" Tomsky is quick and witty, there was never a dull moment in this memoir.

Emily Ruth Carter

Heads in Beds is entertaining, and understandably the author ends in a pretty bitter place. The downside to this is the reader is left feeling that bitterness. Which may be the point. Having worked in service jobs - could definitely see things going this way. Though I had hoped for the happy ending that doesn't always come in real life.

Andrea Badgley

I love Thomsky's voice. I felt like I was his confidant at the bar, and I appreciated both his profanity and humanity. He has a good heart and opened my eyes to the behind-the-scenes lives of people in the service industry. he made me want to be a better person.
