4/5 Loved It Theo is Abigail bodyguard in Heartless Hero (Crowne Point #1) by Mary Catherine Gebhard. He is a jerk, has his reasons and loved every minute of him. She is a hot mess. With her jerk of a family I would be too. The bully romance, second chance and enemies to lovers trope was good. Liked the mystery as added to the plot.

Don't get me wrong, I love angst. I live for the drama and I will always find it in every book I read. This book– wow. I've never read a book as annoying as this. I hate everything. The main characters are so annoying. Like they are the most annoying characters I've ever met. Abigail is so fucking stupid and an idiot as well as her partner. They're literally a match so it made sense. Now that I finished it, it feels so good that my suffering is finally over because I will feel a lot worse if I stopped reading and I don't dnf ever. Thanks for wasting my time but anyways, moving on.

Oh wow - I wasn't sure what to expect with this book series, but book 1 has surprised me SO MUCH and in the best way possible. Some of the characters seem eekkk (but I think there's more to them we just haven't found out yet) and oh my the situations! Definitely a twisted love story turned fairy tale. I must say I ended up loving Theo and Abigail!!
