I read this book for a reason: to step inside the world of hopeless women who felt they had no choice but to choose an abortion. I wanted to understand. And while I didn’t agree by a long shot with all of the decisions made, I did care for the characters. And, I enjoyed the writing, for the most part.

But the string of coincidences and plot conveniences used made me knock some stars off.

Great book about motherhood and the struggles that women faced when it comes to their bodily choices throughout history. Was not expecting the twist in the last three chapters, but it really rounded out the story. Liked reading from the various perspectives.

I absolutely loved this book !!!! It made me cry . I loved the 3 main characters ! Angela , Evelyn and Nancy! It is the very first novel by Heather Marshall and I hope not the last ! It’s about very difficult choices that we as women have to make sometimes and as mothers . I didn’t want the book to finish it was like losing a friend who is moving far away . I was actually still thinking about the book at work today ! Well this is my review I know I didn’t get into the story to much to convince people to read it but I think I rather express my feelings about this book . I think it was the book that moved me the most this year . I know I had said there was others this year that moved me but I actually am going to pick this one ! It’s actually been my best Goodreads challenge this year ! This book deserves more then five stars ⭐️! Thank you Heather!
