The ending was way too perfect & mushy for me, but this entire series was such a wild ride! DEVI'S LADY GREY THO T____________T 

All I need now is an in-universe story of all female mercs just talking for pages about their armor & weapons *____*

I enjoyed this book. I nearly gave it 4 stars, however, it started out a bit slow compared to the other two and I do have to agree with some of the other reviewers that the romance was not my favorite part in this particular book. Not to say I didn't enjoy some of the romantic aspects, but it sort of overshadowed some of the stronger points of the plot. And there were definitely a few deus ex machina moments. But, overall I really enjoyed the overarching storyline Maat and the Phantoms. I am fairly good at predicting where most stories are going to go, but the author took the story places I did not expect in certain areas and I like to be surprised.
