Another word for beautiful is, “be yourself.” Be yourself my dear, it’s a beautiful thing.

It's like if tik tok would write poetry: very blant, and underwhelming, sounded like second hand thought

I don’t even remember why I bought this book back in however long ago—probably the hype all around it on social media around the time of its release (got the internet algorithm and the publisher’s marketing team to thank for that), but dang, I DNFed this QUICK. Not only did it feel super shallow, I just don’t want to read about women from a male gaze. If a woman is looking for a sense of female empowerment, I doubt she’ll be seeking words of “wisdom” from a man.

Even worse than the first volume. Incredibly shallow feminism and "nice guy syndrome" hidden behind overly flowery prose.

I found this quite repetitive and preachy. Any woman should be able to do and say whatever the hell she wants and not feel bad for it. And we are allowed to make mistakes and forgive ourselves.
So here and there there were a few lines I liked and I liked the doodles and sketches throughout, but I wasn't happy with the overall impression I got from the poems.
