Are you a lover of supernatural things.. well this was addictive! I was hooked from the first page. This is the story of Rain, trying to find himself thru loss and grief. In the process, he encounters a group of kids that share the same withdrawn tendencies as him. In this group Rain meets Freddie, someone that Rain gets attached to. I loved the mix of supernatural creatures. The writing was super easy to follow. The world building was pretty on point. The details in the world where all supernatural creatures combined gave me Buffy the Vampire Slayer vibes. I would have loved to learn a bit more of the origins since there were so many! We saw witches (love them!), vampires, and other supernatural creatures. I am a sucker for historical factors in a book so this would have been amazing. This didnt deter me from going on with the story. Definitely a recommended read! Overall I loved this story! I am looking forward to learning more with Havoc which is out today!

I had no idea what to expect going into this one, and I ended up completely loving it! I hadn't read the synopsis, but when I received the book and saw the beautiful cover I decided to make it my next "blind" read. And what a great read it was! I was hooked from page 1 and thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters were really unique, as was the story. I loved that this read as a contemporary, yet had a really fun paranormal/fantasy twist. This is definitely one I would recommend to readers that are a bit hesitant about fantasy (as am I), yet are really craving a bit of the unknown in their next read.

Thought the ending could be a little more well developed, aside from that I totally loved Mary's writing, the main characters and the storyline. 100% gave me Teen Wolf vibes❤️
