Over use of the word nub

The plot was once again fast paced and the world building simple but I honestly didn't mind
I'm glad we got to see Adara learn more about who she is and what she is capable of. I hope we get to learn more about the starblessed in the future. I think my only complaint about these two books was that everything was very fast paced and maybe a little rushed, but I still enjoyed it enough to keep reading

I loved a kingdom of stars and shadows but this one was even better. The plot was once again fast paced and the world building simple but I honestly didn't mind. I'm glad we got to see Adara learn more about who she is and what she is capable of. I hope we get to learn more about the starblessed in the future. I think my only complaint about these two books was that everything was very fast paced and maybe a little rushed, but I still enjoyed it and I can't wait for book three after that ending

I didn’t love it as much as the first book, but I still enjoyed this easy read. I found there was a bit more plot in this book, but I kept wanting more. All in all, a lovely fast paced easy read. Excited for the 3rd book!

Won't be continuing the series. I like the story but a lot of it is very repetitive and its more smutt than an actually story. The author ends the book good but the whole book repetitive till the end.

Alright, I’m pretty sure I’ve read this exact book before… or I’ve read too many fantasy romances and this one is just not very original. Also, not much happens. There’s a good amount of smutty scenes and a lot of “I want him but I don’t want to want him.” But actual plot is very minimal to the story. I remember liking the first one more. For me, there is just something so cozy about a fantasy romance that even if it’s terrible it’s still a guilty pleasure. 😂
It was quick to read and kept me entertained enough but I’m not convinced I’ll actually care enough to read the next one. Overall, I’m not upset I read it but I didn’t get much out of either except a few hours of distraction.

There was no way I was not binging this book after the ending of the last one. Soooo so good! Evren and Adara had me eating out of the palm of their hand with this one. I loved the introduction of Thalia and Sorin, the friendship that blossomed was absolutely heart warming. Mentioning the pace of this book again because I sure as hell loved the speed of it. As soon I started to crave a scene between our two mates Holly would hit us with another romantic/toe curling scene. Again, the twist at the end was predictable BUT I still loved it to bits. I just about died when I got to the note at the end with the release date of the next book. Will definitely be doing several re-reads until then.

Definitely saw the twist at the end coming, however, I really enjoyed this and will devour the third one when it comes out. I’m obsessed with the MMC, I blush and I feel giddy when he’s in a scene. That’s also why sometimes I want to slap the MFC! It ends in a cliffhanger again and I’m not sure I’ll be able to take a deep breath again until I finish this series.

I am in love with series. Obsessed, really. Probably one of my favorite series of year. I do feel like this book was a lot of filler for the plot but focused more on character and relationship development. The plot was certainly predictable but I was honestly ok with that since I was able to get the character development. I also loved that we got to see Evren's kingdom and their way of life. It had such a homey and warm feel and it really added something to Evren's character that I didn't know I needed.
I'm anxiously awaiting the third book and I have high expectations!

THE CLIFFHANGERS 😭

This book would have gotten more stars if it wasn't for the ending. It was so painfully obvious, that it just hurt to read.
