I was so in love with the first two books, world was great, the love was amazing, but the end of this book left me longing. I think everything up until the end was wonderful, but as soon as I read the words THE END I was so irritated that it ended the way it did without any closer! Even the Epilogue was lacking and that’s usually what brings me back but in this case it just frustrated me more. I didn’t feel like the characters received the proper ending they deserved. 

I’m just really hoping that Thalia and Sorin’s series brings me back to feeling of love I had for its predecessors.

If you liked the unnecessary and lowkey disturbing sex-during-battle scene in ACOWAR, you may disappointed--there's no mid-battle steaminess here. No, they wait until after the battle and one of the side characters is (obligatorily) killed off to bang🥴

I spent three books waiting to have this bond explained, the powers explained, and an epic battle, and I got... none of that. I actually enjoyed the first book in this trilogy, but good grief. I nearly DNFed so many times.

I think the worst thing is that it was terrible but there's nothing noteworthy to even roast here😭😭

After the last one I wasn’t convinced I would read this but then it came out and I was injured and read it in 12 hours. 

It’s a quick smutty fantasy. The concepts aren’t all that original but I decided to not care about that and read it for a quick escape.
