The bet trope is one of my favorites which I kind of forgot about. I liked this one a lot cause it was a childhood best friends/bet trope so there was a lot of history and feelings from the past involved.
DNF Unfortunately I don’t think this book is for me. The bet is one of my least favourite tropes and I didn’t realise this wasn’t a stand-alone. Honestly, I don’t think it needs to be drawn out, but it might play a larger part in the series, I’m not sure. Still, it’s not for me, sorry.
