I absolutely love this series. The Geek Girl books are always such fun reads and this one is no different. Although I didn't read it as part of the order of the novels I loved it just the same. It is a cutesy story about Nick and Harriet's first date. The characters were just as fun as they always are and it gave me such a festive feeling reading it. Once again Harriet shows that being geeky is not a bad thing it makes her who she is. Celebration of being a geek is something these books are great at and something that isn't written about enough in YA. Being a festive book it is quite nice that it is a short story as it meant I could read it all in one sitting on Christmas day. Definitely a good read for the Christmas season. I would recommend reading it after the first Geek Girl book as that is when its set and it fits with the story, but it can be read on its own.
