i really struggled to finish this book, the storyline was dull and it really put me into a reading slump. i considered just ditching this book halfway through it.

Harriet Manners is one of those people who can make you smile no matter what she does, even when she totally and utterly humiliates herself. That was pretty much Harriet's life in this book. And all I could do was watch with sympathetic eyes. At least she got a happy ending!

To be honest after finding out there will be a book three I'm really interested to find out where Holly Smale will take Harriet's character after that ending. Interesting...very interesting.
