This book delves into the crazy and chaotic world of motherhood and blogs. The story follows three completely different mummy bloggers who have all been nominated for the same award. Safe to say things get out of hand quite quickly.

 Holly Wainwright has done an amazing job with this book. The plot is quick paced and keeps you hooked from the beginning. There are crazy twists and happenings that will leave your head spinning. The best or worst part is that these things actually do happen.

Whilst the plot is intriguing and fun, the characters definitely make this story. The three mummy bloggers, Elle, Abi and Liesel, could not be more different from each other. The author has done an amazing job giving each mummy their own distinct voice and blogging style. Not far from the craziness are the mummy’s partners, these poor souls have to endure the craziness that comes with the mummy blogger scene and often get dragged into their schemes.

Honestly you will either love or hate the characters, some you will just love to hate!

This was a fun, easy read and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a light read or for anyone who loves to follow bloggers. There are laughs and plenty of ‘omg, did she really do that’ moments, but all up the author has done a fantastic job of capturing the craziness of social media and how it can affect your real life!

Ah I loved this book. Got to admit, I'm a addict to blogs, especially those related to books, films and motherhood and this book called to me! It was lighthearted, fun and easy to read. I really enjoyed it, exactly what i wanted from this book.

If you throw a book at me that is about blogging, written in email format, letters, etc, you know I will read it! So when I saw The Mummy Bloggers, I ran to read it. Please note: this book was written in 2017, so keep that in mind as they do make mention of that a couple of times in the book.

This book is a bit of a generalization - there is a competition for a large sum of money and exposure between different blogs. There is a category for "mummy blogs" (this book takes place in Australia) that pits 3 women against each other. The stay-at-home mom who lies on social media to make it look like her life is perfect, the working mom, and the "crunchy" mom who espouses not vaccinating children and not eating sugar, even though she does both.

Everyone has secrets. Everyone is lying. Everyone is acting out for the clicks and the followers to win the award. Discovering the truth, and who wins in the end, kept me turning the pages as fast as I could. It was a cute story that I would call a great beach read!
