reading this felt like ephron and i were sitting for brunch while she's telling me stories about her life and giving me pieces of advice. i wish i read this while listening to the audiobook! a very comforting read

I missed out on Nora Ephron since I was a bit too young to experience her greatness. This book made up for lost times and now I just wanna read everything she wrote. Witty and honest, Ephron lays out what we've all been thinking about death, relationships, and our career.

I didn't know who Nora Ephron was when I picked up this book (she wrote When Harry Met Sally, in case you don't know her either), but I'm so glad I gave her a try. Her writing is easy, and fun, relatable, and funny. The book ended before I was ready for it to be over.
