4.5 ⭐️’s. such a cute story! It was a nice Palette cleanser that’s kicking me out of my reading slump, makes me wanna read more from the author :))

I Wanna Be Where You Are by Kristina Forest (2019) reads like a mashup of Everywhere You Want to Be by Christina June (2018) and Pride by Ibi Zoboi. Chloe Pierce has been taking ballet for most of her young life. She's at the point where it's time to think of her future. She has an opportunity to audition for a ballet conservatory associated with an all Black dance company. It is the literal dream school for her. But her mother doesn't want her living in New York. 330000 - couple city interstate http://pussreboots.com/blog/2019/comm...

seruu sih, bisa2nya di ipusnas dikit banget yg baca ini, padahal seru kok

i really loved the characters in this and the relationship development between chloe and eli. while i do wish we got to see more of them together, the ending was super cute!

this was one my favorite contemporary books to read, and I love how chloe and eli connect to each other more, and how I didn't expect they were friends before. shat felt important was how chloe managed to achieve her dream as a ballerina after an accident.

I read this on a snow day and it was cute! a slow burn which I liked! There were some parts that were kinda cringy, but it was a cute and easy read!

3/5 stars - slow burn be prepared to wanna try and murder the characters by the end because they are so stubborn - My favorite character honestly was Larrisa and Will I did not like Chloe and Eli I much as I thought I would - I still probably recommend this book for young people but not as much for people who like more mature romances but for people who like middle grade you should defenitly read this book

***3.5⭐️

4.5 I love Chloe so much. This book was such a breeze to read. Had a smile on my face the whole time. Forest managed to create an action packed road trip romance in under 300 pages while dealing with topics such as imposter syndrome, divorce, grief, expectations and low self esteem. While there may be a few times where Forest more conveniently wrapped up different plot points with a little too much haste this book was a fun lighthearted read.
