If We Ever Meet Again If Love Duet Book #1
Reviews

There are better ways to end a relationship than this. Ain’t nobody gets closure from this kind of shit 💀
Idk if I like Blake. But let’s see if he actually did what he did… if so, I’m out. I’ll rate the next book a one star… even if it’s good.

I feel like I read (heard the audio) at the correct time, because the way that I loved his book! I loved the friendships and the romance so much! Binged the audio in a day. I basically ignored my husband for this audio (something I never do, btw).
“You’re a smartass who’s too stubborn for your own good. I think you drive me crazier than any person ought to. And I think I might die if I can’t be with you.”
I loved the abroad experience in Shanghai and the culture! And the group of friends that turned into family will forever live in my heart.
The angst towards the end had my heart in a chokehold! Gahhh! The ending surprised me, because I had no idea it was a duet, so naturally, I binged the sequel immediately after this one.

“you said once every second counts, and I don’t want another second to go by without you knowing that I am totally, completely, one hundred percent in love with you” • this story of first love will lodge itself in your heart and crush it in the best way. warning: farrah & blake’s story ends on a cliffhanger, but don’t let that stop you, because we are promised a satisfying continuation in book 2! • read if you like: ♡ first love ♡ insta-adjacent romance ♡ self-discovery ♡ coming-of-age ♡ identify-shaping cultural experiences ♡ found family ♡ a friendship group you’ll wish you were part of trigger warnings: ☞ parental death ☞ verbally/mentally abusive parent

Okay first of all the prologue had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. Farrah is such a strong lead I’ve read so many books where the lead female lets guys walk over them and this was definitely not the case. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

3.5-4 stars! I really enjoyed Ana Huang’s writing here. This is the first part of Blake and Farrah’s romance, set in college in Shanghai. We get to see them become friends, fall in love, and then get torn apart. The ending dragged for me which is why this is closer to 3.5 stars but I’m still so excited to read their sequel and second chance romance!
