I related to her in a way where it almost felt like we were the same, her pain, her thoughs, her mind, it all felt so real, which almost made it unreal

This will forever be one of the most heartbreaking books I've ever read, but one that will always be close to my heart

I still can't understand why it ended the way it did, why she never got her happy ending or maybe she did for one split second and then it was ripped away from her like every other thing in her life

But I guess for the first time in my life, I realize life is short and we never know what's gonna happen tomorrow

But like I've thought a lot these days, and what Maya also reminded me, is that everyday we have a choice, and as difficult as it is we have to choose to be better, to heal by feeling things we never wanted to feel

I will always be grateful to the author for writing this masterpiece, it found me at a time where I needed it
