didn’t expect to enjoy it this much! Let me be honest… around 15% into the book I was contemplating whether to finish it or not! I’m glad I read until the end! This book is a one night stand turned second chance romance novel. It also tackled grief — not simply over a loved one but also the loss of a career (ronan’s). What I liked about this is how things didn’t get cringey with the whole revelation. Early on, both Ronan and Nova knew that they had a ONS. May be it was serendipitous that they met again years later as neighbors, but all is good! The timing was perfect. They managed to sort out their issues (Ronan with his grief and Nova with Andrew).

Beauty and the Baller is the first book in the series and I have been seeing so many fun reviews about this book and I just knew that I needed to try this one. I just knew from the bright cheerful cover that this book would be different from her other books, and wanted to try it out. I will say that if you are a fan of her other works, then you will enjoy this one as the writing style felt the same to me. This is a sports romance and also an office romance and it was so much fun here. There was some great bantering, entertaining laugh out loud moments, and plenty of feels and in-depth character connection that I couldn't seem to get enough of. And as a plus lots of star wars fan nostalgia that I adored. It was a flirty and sweet endearing romance that was a handful and pure fun. Definitely looking forward to book 2.

loved it Love lost, love redeemed. This story had heart and some steam and that makes it A-Ok with me. Ronan and Nova were so meant to be.

Que lindo fue todo, me enganchó desde el primer capítulo aunque ahí hubo algo que no me gustó pero lo dejo pasar porque no se conocían jajajaja Nova es tan maravillosa, amable y divertida, un personaje realmente entretenido y refrescante. Ronan ay lo amo y es hermoso, con un pasado triste por el cual le daba miedo amar nuevamente. Disfruté mucho todo el asunto del fake dating y ver cómo poco a poco Nova se iba metiendo en su corazón, también disfruto mucho de los libros donde se representa a la familia y aquí al ser un lugar pequeño amo que todos se conocían y se apoyaban mucho unos a otros🤧🤧 El epílogo fue más que perfecto🥺 YA QUIERO LEER EL LIBRO DE TUCK (y por supuesto espero ver alguna pequeña mención de ronannova por ahí👀)

I read this because solely because I had an itching for football romance after my fantasy draft lmao. This had cute moments, but ultimately it was kinda cringey and cheesy in a way that I am just not a fan of. It scratched the itch so at least I have that.

Okay, so I have lots of feelings about this book. And this is one of the first times I truly understand waiting to review a book. I absolutely loved this book, but also feel like I shouldn’t love it as much as I do. Nova is gorgeous and Ronan is talented and rich and gorgeous of course. I slightly prefer romances of people I relate to a little more. BUT they both work through trauma, they both have a hard time fighting for themselves and are both beautiful characters. Their relationship develops in a lovely way and I was rooting for them the whole time. Charming and sexy and I loved it.
