The Revenge Pact

There are three things about you that caught my attention: First, you’re smart, too smart for me, but for some reason, you don’t care. Two, if you had wings, they’d be the colors of the rainbow. Three, you touch me, and I have peace. You’re a River-whisperer. Wow, this book was an awesome read. And you know when a book so good you are enjoying every bits of it, the smallest details, loving the characters so much—even the side characters? That’s what I felt when I'm reading The Revenge Pact. River and Anastasia definitely are my new favorite new adult romance pairing, now. They're just that good. Their dynamics, slowburn, and sexual tensions are off of the charts, all of that... And I haven't even mentioned how they're basically soulmates. Anastasia feelings, River’s dream... They're meant to be since the very first day, and they both knew it. Also, I can read River's letters—the one he made for her ex and the one he remade for her—all over again. He’s just that romantic and have a way with words, they're so swoon-worthy. If you are into fated-lovers kind of story, you cannot miss this book!

Cute so damn cute Cute so damn cute. This book was adorable, romantic, funny and sweet. Be prepared to fall in love with all the characters. I sure did.

(view spoiler)[ My logical side wished there was a logical reason for River's dream, where his dad told him to "wait for Anastasia" before he even met her, but my romantic side accepted it as fate lol. The second epilogue was so cute!! I love the sunrise mural over the nursery!! Stay gold and their three things - "You are a gift, You are wanted, You are loved" painted above I LOVE THAT its so River and Anastasia (hide spoiler)] fav quotes: “There’s an Eskimo legend that says they aren’t stars at all, but openings where our loved ones watch us.” "You stay gold, Anastasia, breathe every breath, read all the books, get into law school, fuck the haters, and stay beautiful." "Show me the money," and she countered with "You had me at hello."

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING TO ME! I FELT THE BUTTERFLIES. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH RIVER! Just thought I’d mentioned that when River called Anastasia, Ana- I was so freaking upset. It literally broke my heart.

“You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.” The Revenge Pact is another favorite this year, Ilsa created the perfect story, besides, River and Anastasia were amazing. This is the first book in the Kings of Football series, and each book follows a different friend. First we had River and I was hooked since the first page. He appeared to be a tough guy but he was caring, sweet and he always put people’s needs before his own. Anastasia was a free spirit thanks to her parents but she was really smart and kind. I really enjoyed her interactions with River. At first he treated her like he hated her but throughout the story we see how their relationship evolves little by little. They were both wonderful and I loved how they never thought less of the other because of their lives and problems they faced. This was the perfect beginning for this series and I can’t wait to read about Crew and Hollis’s story.
