When Vanessa Marshall jumps off the Swan Pier into the future from the year 1949, a piece of the past arrives with her. While continuing to search for her birth mother she develops relationships with the family she never knew she had, and finds that history has been altered in Port Swan.Meanwhile her mother Gina, a fellow time traveler and lost soul, is waiting and watching.
