I probably shouldn't even count this as read, since I barely skimmed about half of it. I saw the good ratings. From the description it seemed like it could be ok. 

But it's not my kind of book after all. The female Episcopal priest seemed promising, but she was an idiot who kept getting in trouble. The (married) sheriff seemed ok, but I think he was just there to fall in love with the priest. Jeezopete. No. 

At least I didn't waste much time on it.
