This is my second time reading Díaz's angsty story, and despite its intimidating length, this story still remains on my top 10 faves list. The Blind Side of Love is an example of real life in that there is laughter, love, drama, fear, etc. This slow burn romance proves if nothing else that Kris and Julianne have great chemistry be it through email, texts, phone conversations, or in person. This chemistry builds as it takes 50% of the story for Kris to learn who Julia really is and another 30% before Kris comes to terms with her sexuality and feelings for Julianne. In addition, Kris and Julianne have so much in common. At times they both have doubts and lingering what-ifs about each other and what the future holds. I can to relate to their feelings especially when family comes into the picture. Naomi is the wild card, and multiple times I feared she would be Julianne's first. Even though there appears to be a HEA, there's still the issue of Naomi's role as Samantha, Julianne's on-screen lover. What will this issue do to Kris and Julianne's relationship? It's obvious Julianne is careful and thoughtful in who she loves, but will an intimate scene with Samantha, a.k.a. Naomi, cause doubts? Likewise, how will Kris fair as an artist especially being Julianne's girlfriend? Will their love survive Julianne's outing to the public? How will they keep their relationship strong with Julianne's commitments and busy schedule? 

And like so many other questions, will there be a sequel? 🤔 Inquiring minds want to know.

I read both versions early on ('08 & '10). This is probably at least the third time reading Vs.2, but it's been years since the last time. Having a crappy memory is an advantage for once. It's almost like reading it fresh (almost, but not quite). I loved it then, and I loved it this time around. I hope she will get a version published one day. There are so many subpar published books nowadays, Diaz will have a bestseller for sure. I'd read it again! If you haven't read it yet, don't let the unpublished status stop you - just be sure to buy it if or rather when it's published.
