this critiques how patriarchy weaponizes sex to oppress women, offering raw, uncompromising insights but as a woc, i find andrea’s analysis powerful but incomplete, as it ignores racial and cultural intersections of oppression. this isn’t fully inclusive but it challenges you to confront patriarchal dynamics and expand the conversation to include the marginalized voices she overlooks. it’s still very good nonetheless, it’s challenging but a very thought provoking read and engaging with it critically can make you feel very empowered but also quite sad.
