I'm a big fan of Gaiman's work, so it pains me to say that I really didn't like this book. The premise itself was interesting and had a lot of potential, but it was dragged down by endless techno babble and what felt at times like an attempt to prove that the writers could use all of the big SAT words they were required to learn in school. It made the flow of the story almost tedious to follow and overall, I think it lacked the heart and quirkiness that usually comes with a Gaiman book.
