It's In His Kiss Bridgerton
Reviews

Made me think about deeply and appreciate my own relationship, loved the Italian elements, gave a warm fuzzy feeling.

not even close to the best bridgerton book

I ate this book up. I loved Hyacinth's character and how outspoken she was. I felt like Hyacinth and Gareth went amazing together. I really enjoyed the subplot of them trying to find the jewels together and her translating the diary. I felt like it added another layer to the book. I also loved the second epilogue, I felt like it really wrapped everything together.

** spoiler alert ** I really want sure how I would feel about Hyacinth's story. We don't see much of her in the previous Bridgerton novels because of the age difference, but I truly loved her story. I loved the connection with Lady Danbury, and the scavenger hunt that her and Gareth begin.

“People will say we’re in love.” -Oklahoma (also this book) Okay this might be my favorite? This is her best attempt at a both a real and a not cringey man. Hyacinth is also very relatable. Also literallyyyyy, the family jewels???? Funny!

It took her seven times to get it right.

This one was cute. It’s actually crazy to see how far I have gotten into this series and seeing the youngest kids have their own books. One thing that scared me with Hyacinth’s book was that she was just seen as this kid with very little maturity to me in the earlier books. But I’m so happy that when I started her book that she had more depth to her than what there was. Her story was a fun one. I love the closeness with Lady Danbury is in this one with it obviously being her grandchild in the book. Gareth’s story was unique too which I had enjoyed seeing what would happen throughout. Then them coming together was unique and fun with the Italian translation stuff. This one was more lighthearted in the relationship aspect.

this one was a lot of fun! the added mystery element with the diamonds made for a good story as well as made this book a bit more different from the rest. i also liked how h and gareth’s relationship developed throughout the story.

gareth and hyacinth have maybe the cutest relationship progression out of all the bridgertons and i will die if they don't get adapted properly

Easily one of my favorite of the Bridgerton books!

Good story and banter between the two main characters. The additional story line of the jewels made it even more interesting

This book was fantastic!! It definitely gives me a choice between Benedict's story or Hyacinth's story for favorite Bridgerton book. Hyacinth is such an easy character to root for, so when things start to go her way you can't help but want her to succeed. Her relationship with Gareth is a heart warming one and it's easy to fall in love with them. Hyacinth is a bold character and is not your regular romance novel heroine.

amei amei amei AMEI AMEI AMEI A M E I !!! escrevo a review direitinho quando tiver tempo update; talvez eu renha esquecido de fazer a review😳😶 e talvez nesse tempo eu tenha lido outro livro😮💨 e soh talvez eu tenha esquecido de tudo pq o livro q eu li foi absurdamente bom😳😮💨😩😶 ou seja um dia ai eu pego o livro e dou uma scan through e escrevo aqui, um detalhe, eu amo a Hyacinth deusa🤩 okay eh isso alias vao la ver minha review de an assassin's guide to love and treason😎😎😎

This bridgerton book was entertaining but not my favorite. I loved the drama and the epilogues were so so satisfying but the actual meat of the book I felt was very predictable. Heartwarming, entertaining again but not necessarily good.

what an outstanding edition to the series. i thought this was actually good. hyacinth best bridgerton sibling?

This book wasn’t as good as the others in my opinion, but it was really entertaining. 🥰

Another hilarious and fun addition to this series!! I loved Gareth and Hyacinth!!

just... perfect

By far my 2nd favorite of the series. Hyacinth was one of the more annoying characters in the first few books because she was a kid... but this book was enchanting. Jareth is a good fit for her.

The ending! What the heck! This was so cute though and I luv Hyacinth. Maybe my fav Bridgerton, although I really did like Benedict's book. (And Penelope's, and Kate's. I hardly ever care overmuch for the men as I always have some issue with them, which is part of what set Benedict's and this one apart.)

I had stopped reading the Bridgerton series for a while as Francesca's book wasn't my favourite however, I knew that I would love this book from reading the first chapter alone. I just felt such an immediate connection with Gareth and Hyacinth and I loved their relationship from the get-go and the story gave me such a thrill and giddy feeling that I could not stop reading it. Long story shot I fell in love with this duo very very quickly and want to reread it again immediately. One of my favourites in the Bridgerton series (alongside Anthony's of course). I also loved the way that they progressed from friendship to relationship and how Hyacinth wasn't afraid to be herself which was refreshing to read.

I went into this with slightly lower expectations since, being one of the youngest Bridgertons, we never got to known Hyacinth all that well in previous books, and I couldn't have been more wrong! It's one of the most fun installments of this series, and Hyacinth has worked her way into my top favorite Bridgerton siblings. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between her and Gareth and loved watching them work together to interpret his grandmother's diary and how it lead them on this wild treasure hunt for her missing jewels. They're both so headstrong and stubborn, leading to them hilariously butting heads constantly, both far too proud to concede to the other. Their romance was also sweet, although there were times I didn't agree with the way Gareth went about things. Despite that, this was highly entertaining and definitely one of my favorites in the series!

This was a super interesting one! I loved the story that lead to the love story, and I have to say it is definitely my second favourite of the series! I loved Hythcian as a character, and I loved that she was always herself!
Highlights

Gareth had always suspected that Lady Danbury would have stood up and cheered if she knew he wasn’t really a St. Clair.
No because why do I imagine Lady Danbury and the grandpa from Charlie and the Chocolate factory when they get the ticket Just imagine the scene and tell me it's not hilarious.

Hyacinth watched with interest as he reached behind him, and without even turning his head, wrapped his hand around the cane and wrenched it from his grandmother’s grasp. “Here,” he said, handing it to her, “you will look after this, won’t you? She won’t need it while she’s sitting down.”
He took her cane-- He took LADY DANBURY'S cane-- This is man is incredible. Incredible I tell you. From this feat alone, I would marry him.

But he knew that it didn’t matter as much as she did, that the past wasn’t as important as the future, and the family he’d lost wasn’t nearly as dear to him as the family he would make.

“Something important is always about to happen, my dear girl,” Lady Danbury said. “And if not, you’d do well to act as if it were. You’ll enjoy life better that way.”
