Secondly, This was a tough read because of how much Odie has to go through, but just seeing all the ways Illi shows up for her truly makes it worthwhile. 

I have been out of Mounty Bay for awhile, but J Bree writes such unforgettable characters and worlds it was very easy to jump back into.

Seeing Illli and Odie in Hannaford Prep is nothing compared to seeing them together in this 😍😍 he would burn the world down just to make her smile. 

“The Butcher” is a ruthless man who enjoys the kill, but Odie (and a little bit Lips) make him soft. Two women was all it took for him to change his perspective a bit. He now realizes his best friend, his ride or die, the man he thinks like a brother, is off his rocker. 

The Jackyl has other thing coming if he thinks he can waltz in a take what belongs to The Butcher.
