AHHHHH these cliff hangers are killing me! I’m obsessed with the Hannaford kids and I wasn’t sure Avery would be my cup of tea, but I think she’s my favorite? The character growth is beautiful. She is absolutely killing it.

This book picks up where the first leaves off with Avery staring down her family on a “murder wall” with a starving man grunting and moaning behind her. There is still 2 spots empty at the Twelve Table and Avery & Illi need to find someone to take that spot. In true fashion they make big power moves with their choice but what happens when they lose someone in The Game that they have come to care for? Will Avery be able to recover? Avery is trying to hold down The Wolfs spot while still learning to be on her own feet. The character development through these books takes her from a strong grace to a force to be reckoned with.

Atticus & Aodhan - true Alpha-Males hopelessly I love with the same Queen. So protective over her in their own ways Aodhan has been gunning for Avery since he was in the Jackalls lair with her. He has seen her for her true self that she doesn’t need saving she just needs a strong man (or men) by her side to support her. Can Atticus share Avery though? 1 step forward and 3 steps back. He still sees Avery as a women who needs saving and doesn’t care what she wants. I truly hope he can pull his head out and see what Aodhan does.

Avery, bow down to the queen 😍 The Ruthless couldn’t be a more fitting title for this book. She is officially done with everyone’s shit. Do not mess with the family, you no longer need to just worry about The Wolf and The Butcher, The Queen will come for you just as hard. 

This book broke my heart time and time again. I found myself crying about characters that I wasn’t even aware had such a choke hold on me. 

THAT CLIFFHANGER!? I finished this book around 1am and it took all of my self control to put my kindle down and not pick up the Queen Crow. I’m dying to what’s next! Ash is home and he is feral!

ok ok ok ok. I'm gonna need every to read All Hail immediately. and if you haven't read the Hannaford Prep series, what in the heck are you waiting for?!?!

This book tore out my heart, completely smashed it, and then tried to give it back covered in tape. I honestly have no idea how I'm going to be able to patiently wait for book 3 after that ending. 

But first, let's talk about our beloved Queenie...I love her *cue sobs* As I've mentioned before, she wasn't my favorite character, but after getting to know her in All Hail and now seeing her in this book, she is amazing and I seriously love her with all my heart. She's so strong and brave and I just- *chef's kiss* 

And my dear, Aodhan, man do I love this man. I looove him. with everything. He's perfect and can do no wrong in my eyes (not that he does lol). My relationship with Atticus though? On and Off lmao. He is just so stubborn and I need him to stop and finally give in to Avery... and Aodhan. I need them all together. 

This second book was dark, mysterious, addicting, and hot, and it was EVERYTHING I needed. The only reason I went with 4.5 instead of 5 stars is that the ending was just a bit TOO abrupt for me. But other than that, AMAZING.

It picks up where it left off in book one, and takes us on an emotionally titillating journey between a queen, her crow and her stag. I loved the emotionally charged chemistry between Avery and Atticus; and the fact we were able to spend some time inside his head; to see the man behind the Crow Legacy. Aodhan continued to showcase that his endless love and devotion to Avery, and became one, if not her biggest ally throughout the story. It was action packed, and more secrets were forced to the surface, and now my anxiety is at an all time high. Lives are now hanging in the balance - who will win? Queen Crow is ready for her crown.

J Bree once again has me freaking the f out about what is has happened, what is happening, and what will happen. There’s so much to keep track of, but you know who doesn’t have a problem with that? Avery. She’s that baddest b there ever was and I just want to be her. 

She’s got some amazing and well deserved romance in this book and there were some amazing moments I just wanted to sink into. There was also crazy gory dark stuff of course, which Avery handles like a boss. She’s definitely the Queen and I can’t wait to find out how it ends! 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

I cannot believe what I just read!!!!! Having a minor heart attack over everything that happened and the fact that I need to wait until Queen Crow comes out. My unhealthy obsession with J Bree keeps growing because how could it not? Avery is the definition of boss and queen and I’m excited to see her burn the world to the ground and rebuild it according to every one of her whims.
