Did i know that it was gonna end in a cliff hanger? Yes was i ready for it? No. Even though this is my guilty pleasure series, im glad it gets better with each book.

This is where it all changes. Especially the beginning of the book but by the end it done to wipe proportions answering so many questions making this whole series actually wild. But it’s built to have its final procession and seeing how all of the characters have come together and what is left it should be good.

Well that was enough J. Bree for me, haha. At least they all stopped saying “freaking” by the end but I just can’t read another 500 pages of this. Barely finished this one.

If your favorite characters were Gabe or Atlas, then you will be very disappointed. This is by far the worst one in the series for me. There was hardly any scene separation and nothing is actually happening. They go fight, they come back, wallow, train for one scene, then go fight again. There’s no actual plot or moving story in this and I was bored most of the time

Tragically repetitive and tragically boring. What is the point of Atlas and Gabe? They might as well shack up bc they’re definitely at the bottom of the totem pole. The over use of “as though” is driving me insane. I wish she would stop adding new characters into the book especially with similar names (Aro and Arlo, seriously?) The relationship between Oli and Nox is HORRIBLY executed. Oli is so easy to forgive, but has the man even apologized?! Sad to say I DNF’d at 70%. I might skim through the last book just to see if they all got married and have kids and shit.

I honestly can’t wait to be done with this series at this point. The plot is so thinly fleshed out it’s driving me crazy and at this point, I’m really only interested in the sweet interactions that Oli has with her Bonded which have become fewer and far between. Again we get no descriptions about what the fuck a soul-bond is or what that means for her and Nox, we don’t do any digging on the mysterious person who killed Nox in the first place, and all this shit about “gods” is so ill-thought out and poorly executed I want to scream how much I don’t care about it. I’m also just never going to be a fan of another entity living inside of a person, I think it’s annoying and personally not my cup of tea. The revelation that Oil killed her parents just didn’t hit home at the beginning of the FIFTH BOOK because at this point I’d forgotten about the accident and it was something I guessed immediately upon reading the prologue in the first book. 🙄 I’m surprised that I find myself missing the first couple books in this series, I at least liked those better than this. Sigh, only one more to go.

Finally! Things are starting to happen in this book and it moves along at a great pace. We’re finally getting answers and the bond group are switching to offence.
I do think that some things happen a little too easily and somewhat unsatisfactorily but I see there’s a larger game here.
I’m intrigued to see where the next book goes!

This was another great installment to one of my most favorite series. Oli and her bonds continue their work dismantling the Resistance. There are some big surprises about their bonds and their powers! The love between this group is so precious to me, as hard as it can be at times, its so pure.

That cliffhanger! Wow I really did not see that ending coming. Can't wait for the next, and final, book!

Ah, this one tugged on my heart strings the most out of the whole series. Such an emotional book that dealt with some heavy trauma in creative and delicate ways. I cannot wait to finish this series when the last book comes out.
