That book glows in the dark and it has runes. Do I need to say more? Well, okay - it's a wonderful story that teleports you to a new world 😍 10/10 would recommend! The magic system is well thought through and has clear rules, but still leaves some room to be explored to a greater extend in later books. The two main characters have great chemistry and develop throughout the book and both of them grow from who they were in the beginning. Their interactions are most of the time believable and their motivations are fitting for where they are on their path in life. Another point I love is the worldbuilding, we get a view of (what seems to me) a classical high fantasy world, but also hints to a highly technical capital. And the book has a map! The characters talk about how longnthey travel inbetween places so one can get quite a good insight to the territory. Also, did I mention that the book glows in the dark?
