"You don't mind if we don't kiss you, do you, Ron?" said Fred in a falsely anxious voice.

"We could curtsy, if you like," said George.”

“Wit beyond measure is mans greatest treasure."

"Yeah," said Harry, "but you, unlike me, are a git, so get out and leave us alone."

“Don't worry you're just as sane as I am.”

“Intent on preserving what ought to be preserved, perfecting what needs to be perfected, and pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited.”

“Ask us no questions and we’ll tell you no lies, Hermione.”

"You applied first for the Defense Against the Dark Arts post, I believe?" Professor Umbridge asked Snape.

“You are the most insensitive wart I have ever had the misfortune to meet.”

"Oh, he knows how to play, little bitty baby Potter."

“You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it."

“Youth cannot know how age thinks and feels. But old men are guilty if they forget what it was to be young…”

“Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike.”

Harry I fucking love you for this! It’s just way to true oh my ducking god! Sirius our drama queen would have thrown some hands just at the view of them always needed to make a show!!

‘There you go Sirius’,Harry thought. ‘Nothing rash, kept my nose clean. Exactly the opposite of you’d have done’

Love it still don’t like that they marry tho

“Nymphe Dora” muttered Lupin. “Don’t call me Nymphe Dora Remus”

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Sì sì nella la trama principale, ma la sottotrama di Fred e George è fenomenale

It took me so many days to complete it, just because I can't stand Umbridge's "ahem"s

Harry Potter #5

I have entered my biennial regression into my Harry Potter phase response to periods of high stress. This did the trick, a pleasure as always to delve back into the magical world.

I really like it, but this hero syndrome that Harry has is really begginning to piss me off.

Great story, just keep going the size of the book is overwhelming but it's definitely worth the read

When the government of the magic world and authorities at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry refuse to believe in the growing threat of a freshly revived Lord Voldemort, fifteen-year-old Harry Potter finds support from his loyal friends in facing the evil wizard and other new terrors.

Arguably one of the greatest books ever written.

My least favourite in the series. It’s a tough one! Harry is just so miserable, and there are some very important transitions and learnings here… but it’s just a particularly enjoyable read for the most part!

I really enjoyed this book for the most part, but it was just so long for no reason. I don't understand why it wasn't edited down more. However, as always it was incredibly captivating and atmospheric, and I am excited to read the rest of the series!

We been following Harry through his struggles, but during the Order of the Phoenix we can see his true frustration with his life & that only makes him feel more vivid in our minds.
This book was bittersweet for me. I loved Sirius & his demise brings me to tears. But I know it happens for the welfare of the whole story. Still, I will always resent J.K. a bit for that. :P

In his fifth year at Hogwart's, 15-year-old Harry faces challenges at every turn, from the dark threat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to the rise of Ron Weasley as the keeper of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team.

Good shite, but honestly don’t think it’s as well written as the previous books. The end (last 150 pages or so) gets pretty jumbled and even boring at times. Also Harry’s a fuckin idiot which is frustrating. I know, I know, he’s a fifteen yr old... but still.

I am finding it really hard to think of how I feel about this book. I have only just finished it and I don't really know if it is a 5 star book, but at this point, this is what I have decided. This book is obviously quite a chunker and in turn taken me the longest of the books so far. There is so much contained in this book, some I absolutely loved, and some I found a little underwhelming compared to some of the other books so far. After looking back through the chapters, but also thinking about the book as a whole, I think I very much enjoyed it. My confusion of my feelings on the book may be from the unfortunate even I have just read(no spoilers but brace yourself☹️). Regardless of what I think right now, I would still recommend reading this, and although I don't think it was one of my favorites so far, it may be your's so READ IT.

It is only now that I realise how much Snape projected his hatred of James onto Harry

Book #139 Read in 2016
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling (re-read)

This is the fifth book in the Harry Potter series. In this book, the Order is once again fighting against Lord Voldemort. Harry is still struggling with being the Chosen One. This book has good action, great characters and continues to develop wonderful storylines.

Shape Mismatch

This book is a saddening example of an amazing plot subdued by sub-par writing.
