I really enjoyed this collection of wizarding fairy tales and additionally thought Professor Dumbledore's commentary to be similarly amusing, especially the notes following The Fountain of Fair Fortune. Each of the tales taught something different and they were all wonderfully magical. Glad to have picked this up and to have finally read it!

1- The wizard and the hopping pot: do good, anytime you can or else deal with your conscience (unless it's dead)
2- The fountain of fair fortune: you make youR own luck, all you need is to start doing something (never settle, Steve Jobs)
3- The warlock's hairy heart: love just as hurt, sadness and joy, are human feelings not to be ashamed of, cherich the moment and when it's gone, move on (that story was quite spooky, gave me mini willies)
4- Babbitty Rabbity and her cackling stump: we all have magic inside of us, we don't need a wand to make things happen (seriously, a wand would be really awesome!), and some muggles are really stupid ( -_-' ) and that king is fairly their king.
5- The tale of the three brothers: never let any kind of power or something representing power get you, simple is the best, try to live an incredibly full life so that you won't have to cheat on death and oh, the ones we lost, they're never really gone, they still live in our hearts.. ALWAYS...

This was a charming short read that made me smile by transporting me briefly back to one of my most loved worlds. I loved the way it was set up with Dumbledore's notes. JK Rowling obviously took a lot of time and put in her best effort to make this small set of short stories come to life. Don't miss out on this on and be prepared to feel nostalgic! The audiobook is also amazing and narrated by some of the stars from the movie.

I loved this little book, and especially the tale of the three brothers. I couldn't help but to read it hearing Hermione's voice inside my head. Babbitty Rabbitty and her cackling stump was a fun read, I didn't expect all the stories to be so amusing, but they were. Hopefully there'll be a Norwegian translation of this in the future, I think kids would like this one (maybe except the tale of The Warlocks Hairy Heart - what a sad story;().

it was a cute book but i was too old to read it at the time because it was last year and i was sixteen. but overall the stories were pretty fun.
