Librarian: I spent the first few years of my career in the adult non-fiction department of a public library. (That's reference for the more traditional members of the crowd.) This is exactly the type of book that I would have ordered for the 700s section of that collection. It has interesting projects, designed in a way that's easy to follow along with.
Reader: I feel like I would get more out of this book if I could paint. Or draw. Or do anything even remotely related to the visual arts. I try, but I'm absolutely awful. The grand extent of my artistic abilities is the creation of library displays. (And even those aren't exactly works of art. Still, this is a lovely book, and I might need to give a copy to my sister for Christmas (she's the artist in the family).
