I received an ARC of this story through Hidden Gems and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I've never been a fan of suspense stories but this was amazing and had me hooked start to finish! I didn't read the first 3 books in the series, but that didn't hider me from understanding and enjoying this one, it could be a standalone story really easily and I love when a series is like that. No confusion, no cliff hangers. Gray and Gillian have great chemistry together and their relationship feels real. The situations they are thrown into to try to figure out who or what is killing every women Gray comes to care for only serve to bring them closer together and when I thought the book was over, I realized I was only halfway through it! I love the way the story changed for the end, not having read any of the other books in the series, I definitely was not expecting it! This book is worth every penny and every second you will spend reading it. I am definitely a fan of this author now and going to pick up the other books in the series!
