I absolutely adore these books. Book two is considerably better than book one, and book one was already a fantastic read. The same list from book one applies:

 -Top notch satire humor
-Takes common tropes and subverts them really well
-Fascinating world building, lore, and magic system
-LOVEABLE CHARACTERS
-Well paced
-Utilizes multiple POV very well 

Our characters go deeper, the plot get thicker, and there is much humor all around. There are also many, many touching scenes and I just love this gaggle of goofs so much.
