I can't express how engulfing this world is. I didn't think The Keeper Chronicles could be topped but oh my, this series is quickly forging a path for itself. 

The character growth that Sable experiences in this book is inspiring, and I am DYING to know how it's going to end. Not that I am wanting to leave this cast just yet. 

I adored the flow of this book, it starts out painful, and made me feel that it was going to have that book two lull that some times happens in trilogies, but in reality Sable is at a painful point in her life. The words of this story are so well crafted that I experienced the horror that she found herself in. 

My heart broke with hers as she moved through this story, only wanting freedom for herself, and her city. So much epicness takes place between these pages, I can't tell you about, so just go read the book! 

As the story ramps up, the anxiety of will they survive or will they die really lays in with each chapter closer to the end. I experienced so many OH MY GOSH are you kidding me?!?! moments, that my head is a buzz with all the potential happenings that could take place in the 3rd book. 

The conclusion was spectacular. Like knocked it out of the park, never saw it coming but it makes total sense looking back amazing. 

If you love epic fantasies that keep you on edge, with a touch of magic, you're going to love this series. I has it all-mythical creatures/species, gray villains, friends in low places, magical people, people playing long game strategies-all packed in to a few books.
