This is a fun, quick macabre read for fans of Welcome to Night Vale and dark story telling podcasts like Mr. Ballen and Mr. Nightmare.  A gas station clerk with a terminal disease keeps a journal and online blog as part of his therapy.  This is no ordinary gas station, however.  It is dark, odd, and mysterious, with an unusual cast of employees and regular customers.

I blindly picked this book from a Reddit post recommendation to read for Friday the 13th. I had no idea how funny this would be! It was equal measures of being pleasantly disturbing, intriguing, and bizarre! I wrote down in my notes that I imagined this is what it felt to be on drugs. I highly recommend this read.
