Ok this was hot and surprisingly very sweet.

Pls, I loved Gavin so much. I’d give him my entire heart if he asked. I am a sucker for any man (or god in this case lmaooo) who calls the fmc “baby” idc what anyone says, that pet name is superior.

So happy we’ll get a full length novel but oof, cannot believe we have to wait till 2023 lmao. Very curious to see what will happen. I think there is so much more to Chloe than what we are seeing right now and I can’t wait to read about it!

I read a few Valentine’s Day themed novellas this year and this one is my favorite BY FAR. READ THIS ONE!

There’s solid plot line, tons of steam and possessiveness, banter, sassy heroine, fun mythical tie in’s… basically everything you could want!

Gavin has been toying with mortals’ lust and desire for longer than he can remember. He’s ditched the wings and silly bow and arrows in exchange for something more powerful: a dating app he designed called Cupid’s Arrow.

Valentine’s is Gavin’s favorite night of the year, and Cupid’s Arrow is hosting a singles event at the hottest club in town. Gavin is ready to sit back and watch the fun—until she walks in.

Chloe has given her friend an hour at this singles party before she walks out. The naughty candy hearts and gimmicky drinks amuse her, as does each person's attempt at charming their way into her bed, but Chloe isn’t swayed—until a man who calls himself Cupid joins her at the bar.

Oh. My. Eros (IYKYK)

This author absolutely nailed this book. I will never look at love hearts the same way again.

You pick this book up for one thing: the spice. And oh boy was it good. The spice in this book is EVERYTHING. I can’t even put into words how hot this book was.

The chemistry between Chloe and Gavin was so powerful and I cannot wait to read more about them. Why is Jack making us wait till spring 2023?!

It took me a while to get used to the 3rd person POV but when Chloe and Gavin really got going, it kind of just blurred into one anyway and I ended up loving it.

Weirdly my favourite part of this book wasn’t actually the spice, but rather the flirtatious banter they had at the start. The dirty talking was intense…

I reckon this is my favourite spicy novella ever. Didn’t think Dana Isaly could lose that top spot but it has happened.

This was an amazing novella!! I loved every part of it! From the spice to the real things Chloe & Gavin had to share.
I can’t wait to get more of them but I don’t know if I will be able to wait until 2023!

Well, this was crazy hot. 🥵 Excuse me while I buy candy hearts with dirty messages on them. 🔥

"I plan on doing everything that these hearts say. Striping you. Biting you. Sucking you. All of them… One at a time… One command after the other… Over and over until you beg me to stop."

It's singles night at a bar hosted by the dating app Cupid's Arrow, created by Cupid/Eros, also known as Gavin. He's not really looking for anyone, until Chloe enters his line of sight. Chloe works 70 hours a week; she doesn't have time for dating, but to support her friend Lana, she ends up at the bar. To make the night interesting, they start using candy hearts to let down the guys interested in them. 'THANK U, NEXT', 'BOI BYE'

When Gavin approaches Chloe, their connection is instantaneous! The way these two kept bantering and teasing each other had me grinning so hard! One of the things I rarely see in romance or erotica is the verbal teasing, and the way these two went at it was amazing. I could not stop grinning; it made for the sexual tension to build up before my eyes, and when they got together, it was electrifying! And the candy hearts they used... *fans face* They would put them into action. 'TEASE ME', 'TASTE ME', 'GOOD GIRL', 'LICK ME', 'BEG FOR IT'

"Sweet girl, I’m not your hero," he rasped. "I'm the god of lust… desire… I'm the shadow you see in the dark when you think someone is watching you touch yourself, the blank face you see when you stare at the walls and imagine someone between your thighs. I'm the god you pray to when your thighs shake and your breaths cease… I'm every wicked fantasy you've ever had."

While this novella is erotic, I loved that it included some vulnerable moments shared by Chloe. Seeing her strong demeanor let down her walls a little for Gavin to get to know her was powerful. I also loved to see Chloe and Gavin interacting and feeling at home with each other in between their sexy moments. For such a short story, I truly believed the connection these two characters had.

Overall, Sweet Girl is kinky hot and electrifying, filled with teasing, banter, and some vulnerable moments that is perfect to read in one sitting.
