The Escapist
The Escapist is a recollection of three years in the life of Russell James. Through poetry, essays, short fiction and anecdotes he attempts to piece together the broken remnants of his mind and make sense of the man he has become and the illusion that is no longer. It traces his path from the beginnings of his terrors, through his apathy and depression, and finally, his restored hope for the future for himself and mankind.
