Newspaper reports of the murder were "avidly" read by the English. Mr. J. Curtis of the London "Times" traveled to Polstead Heath, the scene of the murder. Mr. Curtis also recorded the details of Corder's execution and the dissection of his body by medical students. Corder's manuscript was bound in skin removed from Corder's body for the purpose. -- revised from jacket flap copy.
