'Goodbye, Mr. Chips!', published in 1937, was the second novel of James Hilton after 'Lost Horizon' which was published in 1933. 'Goodbye, Mr. Chips!' became very popular and brought 'Lost Horizon' in limelight. It is the story of a school teacher who is very attached to his school and does not leave it even after his retirement.
