Hotter.Over the past six years, I've tried not to fall in love with him because the terms of the curse are clear: If he doesn't wait for his fated mate in all ways, including an innocent (or not-so-innocent) kiss, he'll be blind forever.So when Kirian kisses me and pulls me through the portal to his realm, I make it my mission to do some damage control. The Fae King's Curse

I loved how the male lead made his blindness into his greatest strength. He did everything right if u ask me except trusting someone who he obviously shouldn’t have trusted. He is a perfect fantasy male lead.

Our female lead was relatable at times and sometimes I was shaking my head at her actions. But hey thats how she is! Too much of Perfection is boring. 

Will I pick the sequel? Nope. This ends with a promise of great war and pandemic to come and I am in no mood for anything dark currently.

The plot is kind of predictable, but overall a fun, and easy, read! 🌶️

It was very entertaining, the premise of the story between Quinn and Kirian was cute. Although the theme of the time lapses between one world and the other gave me a little conflict, but in general it was good.

 
I really don't want to do a very long review, so I'll just say that the problem that really bothered me was that the author took away the strength of the characters in the prequel, Kirian's father was supposed to be a strong and powerful man, and that he would never let the woman he loves get hurt, here she didn’t respect that, she literally didn’t show the father in the conflict until everything was resolved. Also the issue of the sister's betrayal, ugh, no thanks.

Fue muy entretenido, la premisa de la historia entre Quinn y Kirian fue linda. Aunque el tema de los lapsos de tiempo entre un mundo y el otro me dieron un poco de conflicto, pero en general estuvo bien. 

No tengo muchas ganas de de hacer una reseña súper larga, así que solo diré que el tema que me disgustó bastante fue que le quitaron fortaleza a los personajes de la precuela, se suponía que el padre de Kirian era un hombre fuerte, poderoso y que jamás dejaría que le hicieran daño a la mujer que ama, aquí no respetaron eso, literal no mostraron al padre en el conflicto hasta que se resolvió todo. Además el tema de la traición de la hermana, ugh, no thanks.

The built up in the earlier stages of the book were great, I loved the chemistry between the two characters and seeing how their friendship developed into more. However, the book took a dip half-way through and just became chaotic. I didn't like how the book skimmed over certain things but spent copious amounts of time on others. It just seemed disjointed from the first half of the book. Overall, a meh plot but I did love the romance between the characters.

I really should learn to stop trusting TikTok recommendations when it comes to finding books to read. The plot was just shy of being really interesting. I also thought the romance felt a little adjacent to being predatory.

 Wonderfull world building and plot that you will not be able to stop turning the pages. This book easily will be one of my favorites of this year. 😍😍 Cant wait to read Damon's story!! If you like gnomes, trolls, witches and FAES you need to read this book!!!! 
I need more of this world and see how things resolves. 💖
