Reading this book was quite interesting. 

Catherine Morland is an interesting female character, who I'm not sure whether I completely like or not. She's quite a child, is quite "fanciful" and ultimately I found her quite embarassing or awkward at times. 

The actual plot and premise of the book was okay, I liked how she moved from her original home to the Tilneys. I felt as though hers and Mr Henry Tilney's relationship was kind of forced, but when I watched some movie clips, it did seem alot more real. When I reread persuasion, I definitley enjoyed it alot, lot more, so I think if I was to reread this book, I would also enjoy it too. 

I liked Henry Tilney, although I do think he's not the GREATEST male love interest.

Honestly, the characters had a lot of brothers and sisters, it was hard to keep up, but overall a good coming-of-age story. Also, now, when I hear an unwanted compliment, I can say: "That is a compliment which gives me no pleasure."

"The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid." I completely agree lol.
