Margo is impossibly in love with a man whom she could not have. 
Her niece is chasing the idea of money and excitement over love. 
Her niece's fiance wants to know why Georgia left him at the altar. 

With all of this information given at the beginning of the book, the chase is on! If you love old Hollywood, name-dropping, and drug lords going Rambo, then this book is 100% for you! 

Margo and Tully, the niece's fiance, head off in a car chase during what is supposed to be Tully and Georgia's wedding reception. 
During the search for Georgia, Margo gets caught in her feelings about a man she was in love with but was never able to truly marry. 

Finn was one of the first people Margo met when she came back to the US from London. He was an older gentleman and was very kind to her. The two started up a relationship, and soon after Finn proposes. 

The relationship between Finn and Margo reminded me of the relationship between Freddie Mercury and his fiance before he came to the realization he was homosexual. 

This book also reminisces on the glory days of Hollywood, since Margo's father was a very famous play-write! There are 2 scripts found in this book that people are willing to pay big money for, and that is one of the many reasons Georgia goes missing. 

I would highly suggest this book to someone who wants a story that feels like a movie but is also compelling. While there are some very silly, and absurd scenes, this book was quite lovely.

It was an OK book. Quite a lot of fun in places. The problem was that it sounded like a children's book in some places. I had no problem with the style the writer chose to use - present continuous - but the flashbacks, written in the past tense frankly takes on a childish quality which does nothing to enhance the story. Also too many two dimensional characters.
