It's impossible to rank a book like this. The two stars I gave it are based purely on pleasure, not literary merit, so with that in mind they are a very strong two stars. I enjoyed reading this, I just don't think it's "good." It's silly, romantic, and slightly erotic escapism. Something I needed this week. That being said, the reason it's not "good" is because the plot lines are unbelievable, the characters are cliched, and the behavior was at times even a bit puritanical, or at the very least old-fashioned. But gosh darn if I didn't read it one sitting.
