The Stonewatcher

Geza is an autistic 25-year-old living with his mother in a small village. Everyone around him wishes him well. They even arrange for him to work in the local quarry and give some purpose to his life. He'll be the Stonewatcher. But none of them really understands the nature of his unique but closed universe and their well-meaning actions almost destroy Geza. Janos Hay's play is written in a simple, ballad-like style, in a freshly minted language that is laced with humour.
