Reviews

I read it on the 25th of July but I only got up the courage to write a review now... First of all: wow. Second: what was that book??? It's the first work by the author that I've read and I'm already planning to read the others, maybe it's not a book for everyone since it's BIZZARE but it's definitely a story that holds you and leaves you on the edge of your chair, I got so involved in the plot that I finished it in less than a day. To be honest, the characters are not the most lovable, right at the beginning they drop some problematic sentences and their actions around the book make you wanna punch them but somehow the reader always wants to follow and cheer for the protagonist. In the beginning, it's a little slow paced, but I guess it's necessary to understand the context and reasons that led them to do all that (not that it's justifiable), but once the plot picks up, everything happens very quickly (and sometimes even confusing, which represents too much the protagonist's mental disorder). I don't want to say too much so as not to spoil the story but in several parts I caught myself wondering where the author got these ideas from, how can anyone think such a disturbing thing...If you weren't already a vegetarian, after that book you'll totally become.
